This list of best white wine club gifts has been curated by a white wine lover... specifically, an ABC white wine lover. ABC is code for “Anything but Chardonnay,” and while I like a nice unoaked Chardonnay on occasion, there is so much more to white wine drinking than the most planted grape on the planet.
These white wine gifts offer your recipient a chance to discover the best white wines from around the world, rare and unusual varietals—especially if he or she shops for wine primarily at a large chain store. There isn’t enough demand to keep unusual wines on the shelf at a big volume store, and there are so many wonderful whites that this may be single best way to find them.

Overview: Club W is a new kind of wine club—get a personalized list of available selections each month and then choose your own wine. Very flexible in size of shipment and what goes in the box each month. This makes for a great gift, too!
What We Love: We love the great selection of quirky wines mostly priced at $13 with some better wines sprinkled in. We are especially impressed with the whites and roses which deliver knockout value. We love that you can put as many wines in your box as you want, and that shipping is free on 6 or more bottles.
Could Be Better: The wine descriptions tend to purposely avoid helpful terms that experienced wine drinkers look for in selecting bottles (i.e., no references to "buttery" or "acidic"), and the red wines haven't been our cup of tea. It's hard to sell a good red wine for $13, but we think they can do better here.
Overview: An incredibly popular wine club delivering the highest-quality wines among the two-bottle monthly wine clubs.
What We Love: Consistency. We've been receiving their shipments for years and we've never had a wine we didn't like. You can't really ask for more than that from a wine club.
Could Be Better: We don't have any suggestions for what to improve within the Gold Series wine club. Yay!
Overview: A personalized wine program powered that gets to know your palate by starting your subscription with a tasting kit—real wine tasting in your living room. A significant step up from anonymous case clubs.
What We Love: Lot18 delivers on value, but at a higher level than other case clubs you might be considering. These selections are tailored to your preferences and they send exclusive wines you won't find anywhere else. Online account management is a big plus.
Could Be Better: We've had some complaints about quality. This is probably more a factor of their high-end marketing push which makes buyers think these are exceptional wines, when really, they're just good wines. We also receive complaints regarding their customer service being hard to reach and membership being difficult to cancel. This is reflected in the Customer Service rating we give them.
Overview: Italian white wine club delivering great wines and great value.
What We Love: Family-owned and operated, these Italianos love their food and wine, and love to share their passion!
Could Be Better: This is the best Italian wine club around... so the only thing to improve is being able to get more bottles! A case club would be perfect for Italian wine lovers.
Overview: Featuring hand-picked, adventurous selections from around the world. Great value and great drinking in every shipment.
What We Love: Industry-leading customer service, no ho-hum selections allowed, always over-delivers on value, and it's a great wine club for foodies.
Could Be Better: As this wine club continues to add more benefits like a satisfaction guarantee, discounts on reorders, partnerships to enhance their wine pairing, and more choices for customization, we only have praise for Plonk.
We've hand-selected these wine clubs for you because: They exceed our expectations as compared to similar wine clubs; They offer better value or a better selection of wines than similar wine of the month clubs; Our readers prefer these to similar clubs.
The best red wine clubs are a mix of two things: the best wine clubs overall, and getting the most value on red wine (which can be expensive for the good stuff). We sifted through our independent wine club reviews to figure out which wine clubs are really the best red wine clubs. These red wine clubs are sure to delight.
Not surprisingly, there are a number of amazing values in white wine clubs. Since white wine is often cheaper than read for similar quality, we went even further with our best white wine clubs list, looking for the clubs that offer you interesting whites, not just good whites. Use our reviews to further refine your selection.
